BVA Federal Credit Union provides members with an efficient affordable checking account. We will provide you with starter checks and a free box of checks at no cost and a NO FEE debit card the day you open a no fee, interest bearing checking account!  An additional supply can be purchased at cost. The following features are standard in all share draft accounts:

  • Earn .25% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on your account
  • No minimum balance requirement
  • No monthly service charges
  • Overdraft Protection will transfer from your savings accounts at no cost
  • Direct deposit of your paycheck
  • Automated Clearing House (ACH) direct deposit of your paycheck, social security check, or retirement income
  • Once ACH is established you can distribute funds into savings accounts and loans with the credit union
  • Electronic funds transfer capability
  • Detailed monthly statements
  • Free Visa debit card
  • Use for point of sale transactions (on credit side) at most any merchant using Visa logo
  • Use at any ATM machine for instant cash (banks may charge a fee, PNC Bank will not charge a fee--most credit unions do not charge a fee)**
  • Use cash back feature of debit card allows cash at no cost

 

* Rates and yields in effect are subject to change. All yields quoted are for dividends compounded daily and paid quarterly on balances over $50. Accounts with balances less than $50 will not earn dividends. Interest is earned from date of deposit to date of withdrawal.
